To apply for an e-Passport in Bangladesh, you can follow these steps:

Step 01: Create Account on E Passport

  • At first, Visit Bangladesh Official Passport Website https://www.epassport.gov.bd/onboarding Or Click Apply Now.
  • Now, Select District of your present address & Select the police station nearest to your present address.
  • Now, Tab on Continue. Then, go to others Pages.

Step 02: Enter your email address

  • Now, Enter your Own email address.
  • Solve the Captcha Puzzle.
  • Tab on Continue.
  • Now, Create 6 digit Password. After complete Create account then, you get a Email verification from passport authority. Login your Email and click on verify button. Now, login your E passport account through Email & Password.

Step 03: Passport Type

  • Login your E Passport account. Now you can see “Apply for a new e-passport” Tab on it.
  • After click on it start your E-passport Application.

Step 04: Personal Information

  • Now, give your Full Name According your NID Card, Gender, Date of Birth, Place of Birth and Citizenship status.

Step 05: Address

  • Enter your Present and Permanent address including “Village or City name, Holding Number,  Post office, Police station & District name.
  • After complete giving all Information click on “Save And Continue” Button.

Step 06: ID Documents

  • If you already have a passport then, Click on yes. Or if you are a new then click No, I don’t have.
  • Now, Give your National ID Card Number.
  • After complete giving all Information click on “Save And Continue” Button.

Step 07: Parental Information

  • Enter your Fathers Information Including Fathers Full Name, Fathers Profession If your mother is deceased, select “Other”, Fathers Nationality & NID Number.
  • Enter your Mothers Information Including Mother Full Name, Mother Profession. If your Mother is deceased, select “Other”., Mother Nationality & NID Number.
  • If you do not have parents, enter Guardian Information.
  • After complete giving all Information click on “Save And Continue” Button.

Step 08: Spouse information

  • Select your marital status. If you are married then select Married or if you are unmarried then select Unmarried.
  • After complete giving all Information click on “Save And Continue” Button.

Step 09: Emergency Contact 

  • Enter the name, phone number and contact information of the person to be contacted in an emergency, including their relationship to you.
  • After complete giving all Information click on “Save And Continue” Button.

Step 10: Passport Option

  • In this section you must select your Passport Pages & Passport Validity Time.
  • You can select 48 pages or 64 pages passport for 5 years or 10 years Validity Time.
  • After complete giving all Information click on “Save And Continue” Button.

Step 11: Delivery Options & Appointment

  • In this section you must select your Passport delivery option & Schedule for appointment.
  • In the “Delivery Options” section, select how quickly you want your passport delivered.
  • Regular delivery takes 21 days.
  • Express delivery takes 10 days.
  • Super Express delivery takes 2 days.
  • After complete giving all Information click on “Save And Continue” Button.

Step 12: Make Payment 

  • If your all information is correct then Click on “Confirm and proceed to payment” .
  • In payment Option you can select anyone. If you are comfortable with online payment then select Online. Otherwise you can select Offline.
  • After complete Passport fee then, click on “Continue” button.

Step 13: Application Submitted

  • Now, you will find Online E-Passport & Summary form.
  • Tab on “Print Summary” Option & Print your Application form.
  • Click on “Download Application Form to Print” option to download PDF form of ePassport online application form.

How to Payment E-Passport fees?

There are two ways to pay the e-passport fee in Bangladesh:

Online

You can pay e-passport fee online using credit or debit card. To do this, you need to visit the e-passport online registration portal and create an account.
